Current recruitment market outlook Nov / Dec 2021: 'Frothy'


Lots of candidates chasing an increasing amount of vacancies. Companies seem hesitant in making decisions and often are opting for the 'safe bet'.  Candidates are sometimes increasingly in danger of missing out on high quality opportunities by being 'aloof' and 'hard to get' in the mistaken belief that it will increase their value in what is superficially a bouyant and candidate-driven market.


Hardly surprising after 18 months of pandemic. We believe more 'business as usual' conditions will resume in the new year when we think the market will settle down.

We are multi sector in our recruitment, but with a particular emphasis on IT, the digital economy, financial services, manufacturing and industrial sectors.  Additionally, our UK Director Tom Holloway has developed specialist expertise in working with private equity investors to recruit the right teams for their businesses.    Typically our recruitment is multi sector and multi functional, but tends to be for senior leadership executive roles of £75k and over.
